Hi folks…well, this guitar had come into my local shop on Thursday. I’d been on the lookout for a 12-fret bluesy guitar and this fit the bill I think.

It’s a Waterloo WL-S model. The body size is a bit smaller than their other WL-K and WL & 14-fret models. It has a solid Sitka top, solid Cherry back & sides, mahogany neck, truss rod (I was wrong in the video). Comfy neck carve too and light as a feather. And a beautiful yellow sunburst.

It’s a very responsive guitar. The slightest brush of the strings brings out this gorgeous mid-rangy tone.

I’m going have to move a bunch of stuff to pay for it but I’m pretty over the moon about it at the moment.

I can’t wait to play a LOT of blues on it 🙂

    Cheers,

I really don’t think there is anyway to tag anyone. I don’t get it yet…. this web world is above my pay grade… and being retired… that’s about anything is above it…🤣

@TimK1 that’s a beautiful guitar, from my old hometown! I’d love to have one—someday. It’s exactly the sort of guitar I want for blues. And your playing does it justice for sure.

Thanks @punder …so far so good with this little beauty. Austin sounds like such a cool city…maybe when the world can travel again, I’ll get a chance to visit!
