  • Tip of a capo to you!

Had been using a Kyser capo with my Taylor acoustic guitars but an accomplished guitarist family member suggested I use a Shubb Deluxe S1 instead. What a difference as it does not affect tuning as much . . . a small but significant win for this guitar geek. I play on.✌

I’ve heard good things about the Shubb. Thanks for the tip @Guitargeezer

The key to using a capo is to use one with an adjustable clamp. You should only use enough force to allow the strings to ring clearly. The spring loaded capos often apply too much pressure pulling the strings sharp. This is made worse when you have high string action.
