  1. Wow, that was a totally inspirational and surprising to me, as I am not a country fan, nor had I much interest in writing, and now I’m both! How is that possible? Both of you were connected in a way that I became connected too, not only to the engaging conversation, but to something in me. And Cory’s journey and advice not only pertained to music I felt, it was relevant to being true to oneself in the choices we all make along our life’s path. Thank you, really.

  2. The more I watch the interviews the more I realize how unaware I have been of how things go in the world of music and guitars. Great interview with Cory. I’m not a huge country music fan but I thought the songs he did were really good.

  3. Inspiring and grateful for this interview about songwriting. Cory seems a true spirit born to write. Someday perhaps I can write a song too. I will watch this video again anytime I’m feeling down. It truly helps.

  4. I enjoyed that interview. I am not too familiar with the country music scene, although I like many country songs. I enjoyed his playing and song compositions, and his stories about getting contacts and song writing process as well.

  5. Thanks for this one, Tony!
Cory seems like a great guy, and the type of songwriter that I like. I’m not a songwriter, but I would still love to attend the festival (only partially because I love the area). I hope I can make it sometime.
Cory seems to like the drop-D tuning , as I do, which he used on both songs in the video. Also, he uses some very nice chord structures that work well drop-D.
Beautiful J-200 too; it sounds great.
