  1. This was a challenge but seems like a smart exercise. I can see how it can strengthen my capabilities so I will come back to it. I sound awful but making progress on the muscle memory. The stretch between the index finger and the pinky might never come, but it’s worth the try.

  2. These are great for me. I broke my finger so it is extra weak and awkward. This will definitely be a part of my daily warm ups!

  3. This one is a tough challenge for me. My hands do not stretch that far. I am not able, at this point, to put my fingers in that position. I can do the first 3 fingers but my pinky is not stretching to that 4th fret. Should I just go further down the neck and do the exercise there until I can stretch them that far? HELP! lol… (small hands here. Maybe its more of a situation where I just need to build the strength up? I dunno?

  4. easy to do but for some reason I keep the first finger of the fretting hand locked straight when using the 3rd and forth pinky exercises

    1. I have a spring loaded tool that allows you to push down on each finger separately. You can also adjust the spring tension from easy to hard. I think it works great. However, gets very uncomfortable in a short period of time. Not sure what it is called.

  5. This was “not bad”, but then my pinky told me to stop now. I find the stretch from index to pinky challenging and also, for some reason my middle to pinky.
