I am new to TAC and am unaware (perhaps blissfully) of the changes or frankly the rules. I heard Tony say in his intro to TAC that community members are encouraged to be kind and supportive – that sounded really good to me. Many interesting and thought-provoking comments in this posting – I appreciate the thoughtfulness and caring of the TAC community.

PS Just read the forum rules. Maybe it would be good to have a 6th category – basically, for that which does not fit the other 5 but is related to guitar, love of music, etc.

Thanks, @Moonhare! As a life pattern, I have wanted to avoid “failure” (i.e., not doing well right off the bat). I enjoy the Daily Challenges that come easily. But I like the ones that don’t from the point of view of training myself to accept not doing so well with something, and just focusing on the act, not on how I feel about myself when not doing so well. If this makes sense. If I can do it with guitar, then …. 😀

@Mark, thanks for sharing your experience. I can relate. I am grateful for the practice part of the lesson, especially for Bingo Bango. At a certain point, I just stopped playing and counted along with the music as Tony played. Then I practiced saying the timing to myself without the guitar. I am still pretty rough with this lick but I am sure it will come together in time.
