Well that is a BIG win of course! Congrats. I listened to the 1st song and it does evoke the NW (I lived in Seattle for 10 yrs) … your voice imparts emotion and the lyrics impart a certain melancholy mixed with making the best of life and the obstacles that one may encounter.

And congrats on collaborating with your wife…that is really cool.

I look forward to hearing the rest of it.

Today’s tune ….part of My Boy Bill from Soliloquy in Carousel. Lots of fun…3/4 of a win due to not quite getting the whole melody down. Maybe I will get another 1/4 after I do the Daily Challenge

Tonight’s song sound out was Bambola…another big hit in France and Italy by Dalida and Patty Pravo in the 60’s. I heard it on a preview of My Brilliant Friend on HBO tonight and the it brought nice memories.

Thanks Cadgirl…yeah tonight’s lesson was really hard for me …so it was nice to have the satisfaction of figuring out the melody of a song and writing down the notes. Could be so much more with it…like adding timing, chords, etc but then it would be a “big win” 😆
