@N-lightMike , NO….. don’t quit! Can you listen to the song / track with head phones on ? Play along with it that way? You could record it while you are listening on the headphones. Then you would have the proper speed, etc. I hope this gives you something to think about.
My sound doesn’t work on my computer, I have to use my head phones all the time. But, I found it helpful at times because I can listen as I play, to make sure I have the right beat without the music being to loud.

@DrB , @N-lightMike is correct, lots of people don’t do barr chords. I attached a youtube that might help you out, it’s called Guitar CHEATS! The video shows that there are alternatives out there. This friday’s Lesson “KC9 Minor (Key of Bm). YIKES, I’ll admit I didn’t do a full 10 minutes of it and I called it done (bad me). So… I’m glad for your question, because now I found some alternative voicings through the website for some of the challenges we had this week. Just google guitar cheat! – Never Play a Barre Chord Again!. It’s a site by Darrell Braun Guitar.
I attached my cheat sheet. It has the chords being talked about in the video. Hope this helps. It helped me. -

Thanks @Kitman , I want to push myself a little harder or I start being satisfied at where I am and i won’t progress. It’s not like the old days where someone would stop at the house and we’d just play silly stuff back and forth. I have heard some pretty impressive improv on the ‘play for us’ and I have to say, i’m jealous. 🙂

@N-lightMike , right on! You make a lot of sense with that. I was just telling both @Bill_Brown and @GerryB56 that I’m planning a reboot. I really did want to make it to 100 days, now that I made it, time to start over. 🙂

Thanks @GerryB56 ,Record a couple of songs that you know well and upload them to your computer. Then do a comparison with your next 100 days.

@Bill_Brown This sounds kind-of stupid but I actually plan to miss a day so I can have a reboot. I want to record a couple of the songs that I can play from memory and store them away. Then in another 100 days, record them again (with new songs I have learned) and see the difference. I’ll probably reboot around the end of this week.
