@Mrfredsporty , This is a great idea. Thank you so much for it. I have been using a dish cloth to lay on my guitar when i’m sweaty (ugh). But, using the sock is a fantastic idea. Thanks again

@Kitman , I downloaded the OBS and I immediately got the ‘deer in the headlights’ look. WHAT!!! Glad you gave me a heads up on it. I won’t be able to look at it till the weekend and then I’ll give it a try. I’ll download some tutorials. I love how your video came out with the Pic/pic. So professional looking. I’ll let you know how it works for me.

@Guitargeezer-Jack , I really do like the fact that you can scroll back in time and watch the older Acoustic Tuesday shows (like the icon being on the sidebar). There is a lot of times Tony has a AT that is about amps, 12 string, etc. You can go back and do a search on all the episodes for that particular issue and play it back.

@the-old-coach , Wow, great win. You might not see your friends again, but you have something to remember them by. Make sure to make a video of you playing it and send it to them. I’m sure they’d get a kick out of it.

@JoeT , I really like all the responses that members jumped in to give. I think the lesson you speaking of is ‘Buckets of Butter’. Barre chords can be tough. Just play the chord on the top fret and forget about the barre for the moment. Deaden all the strings and just practice the progression. You’ll get it in time. There are always the skill challenges to look at that could help you out.

@Jonathandavid , you could make the backing track as long as you like. Just play the ‘buckets of butter as long as your fingers can stand it as you are recording it. I’m not really fast with all these barre chords, but I found this week had a lot of opportunities. Just like @Kitman shows with his improv.

@MikeGaurnier , Taylor T5, just a beautiful guitar. That would be something nice to own.

ok, i’m just about done kicking myself for trading my D-28 in. But…. on the other hand. I wouldn’t have had the money to buy my Taylor 812 without the trade in and the 812 is simply awesome. But, I learned a lesson and i’ll try a different type of strings next time. Or add a post…. My guitar doesn’t have the right feel, would using lighter strings help? ha haha
