You did a great job on your song! It nice to be able to put your thoughts into words and melody. You’re an inspiration to us.

@Kent_B , I missed the part where you said the tabs didn’t make sense (thanks @Loraine for catching that). I checked the ‘skill courses’ and I didn’t see any courses to show you how to use the tabs! Loraine do you know of any skill courses that explain it? Kent, I drew up a crude drawing of the first section of the “Collect Ingredients”. Maybe that will help explain. It actually isn’t hard and you’ll be up to speed on figuring out the tabs pretty fast.

Thanks @stevieblues for the compliment. I am getting a better understanding of it all. I even reopened my Dummy book on Music Theory. It is even making a little bit of sense.

No @stevieblues , I haven’t made a video and won’t until I really get it down good. I am still struggling with just putting everything together. But, I do have to add…. going through the process is really giving me a better understanding of what is going on. If you haven’t done the 5-day routine challenge give it a try. Well, worth it.

Thanks @Loraine , I swear I had a hard time with this one. But it really made me look at what I was doing. All those stinking barre chords!! After I looked up the scale and figured out why there was so many #s in the chords it rang another bell in me to start backtracking into what we did in fretboard wizard with Major and minor chords. Like I told @stevieblues , when I get better at them (and faster) I’ll post it as a song.

Thank you @Christopher_H . I practiced this piece a lot. I’m really happy with all the good responses on the song. I want to get another smooth to post next month. 🙂

    Thanks @YukonGuitarist , I thought I’d seen a explanation of the TABs somewhere. 🙂

Good for you to get the A barre down. HOOT HOOT! also sorry to hear that you are having issues with your elbow. Does the tennis elbow brace help at all? It might be a good recommendation for others. Good thoughts on getting a piano. Yes, I’m sure it would help out. tony does have a course on stretches ‘Daily Stretch for Guitar’. Good luck and hope you heal up soon so you can get back to playing. Oh, another thought is Tony has a ‘slide guitar’ course. Good luck
