You made it back to guitar playing, that’s all that matters. It’s amazing how much you forget in those years you don’t pick up the guitar.

Pride and Joy is my favorite Stevie Ray Vaughan song. Good job on adding a little bit of Rockabilly twist. I’m glad I took the time to give it a listen.

Save the pdf to your computer. Some like….. “2021-11-20 Todays challenge”. Then If I take some time off I can still do them in order. But, like Loraine said once the month is done with, those disappear off the website.

@Schroder ,Take a snap shot of the lesson with your IPhone. Sometimes all you need to do is get an additional glance to refresh your memory. Google how to make a folder on your IPhone (the folder will be in your photo area). I have one called “Guitar” You can move all your guitar snaps into that directory. It’s just an idea.

That was so nice of you to make a TAC Bridge sheet for newbies. It’s a BIG help. For myself….. If not for the community and all the helpful members. I think i would have been lost. Very sorry to see you go. You have been a big help and inspiration to others.

I was just looking at justin guitar. He will teach you a lot of songs and has them from easy to hard. Take a look at it, http://www.justinguitar.com I also use ultimate guitar, it’s a also a good one to add to your guitar list.

Welcome back @bsmith8332 , but now you have to recondition those finger tips again. OUCH! If you can’t do the challenges at least try to stick to the 10 minutes a day even if it’s just doing the scales or switching chords. Don’t let those fingers go soft.

MemberNovember 16, 2021 at 11:24 am in reply to: Looking for reviews on Taylor 562ce (12 string)Thank you so much for getting back with me. I figured it wouldn’t be a boomer which is ok with me. I don’t need a loud guitar. It’s just me that I’m playing for, for the most part anyway. I want a 12 with some mellow sounds and somewhat easy to fret. I owned a tinny, hard to play 12 string before and don’t want to go that road again. Here is what I’m thinking of doing… The Taylor 562 is the same price as I paid for my Martin D28. The guitar store will give me a decent mark-down % if I trade in another guitar, plus the store will give me a decent trade-in for the D28. So I won’t lose a lot of money in the transaction. If I get the 562 and really like it and play it more, it will all be worth it. My D28 just sits on the wall. The store said I could buy the 562 and try it out and see if I like it and see if it’s worth keeping otherwise I can return it to the store for full refund. I can’t find a 562 in any stores near me. That might be the route I will have to take. I hope all of this makes sense. Can’t thank you enough for your input.

It had a cheap tinny sound and hard to play, sold it and never thought about it again. Lately thou… I like to give it another try. I’m going to check out the guitars you mentioned. Thanks again.

I looked for the “90 day replay” this morning and it hasn’t been uploaded yet. Hopefully today.

The class is really informative. I actually don’t know why anyone would have to wait to start it, It’s all prerecorded? Unless it’s easier to have more of a classroom of people? I got stuck a couple of times on exercises but just went to the community support and they helped me out. Good luck.
