Congratulations on your new beautiful Martin hd28 in sunburst!
In early 2021, I was dreaming about a great sounding Martin made in the USA and thinking that I needed to wait for a few years. ‘Grateful that my husband Steve encouraged me to get my Martin 000-18 Standard sooner, rather than later! She fits me well and is comfortable to play. I’ve been enjoying playing every day and believe that I’m playing better because she’s such a fine instrument to hear, inspiring me to play as much as possible every day! I love finger picking and the sound of every note.

Hello, @Cadgirl Thank you for your encouragement. I’m happy that you found a guitar that you love, too! And thanks for letting us know about play guitar on the porch day. Our porch is not very big, but we do have a bench under a shady tree! My husband and I enjoy playing outside in the pretty late afternoon light. I’m putting August 27 on the calendar!

I agree with others’ helpful recommendations. The Skills courses are great and Tony is an excellent teacher. Right now, I am reviewing the Foundations of Fretboard Navigation.
@OhWowMan Yes, I also understand where you’re coming from.
At this point, I’m going back to the Skills courses and will check in to Daily Challenges when I have time.
My first year at TAC has been very positive.
