Great win @Tapley_Tinsmith ! If you are not using a metronome I highly recommend it. It is the best way to learn to play in consistently in time.

Nice improv @charlie_d ! I like the way you mixed the scale given with some scale work of you own on the top 2 strings. I like your “old” guitar aw well. You definitely were putting out some groovy vibes with it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi @Kerby I use pretty much the same approach as @Bill_Brown and also save the PDF Tab file to my iCloud in a designated folder (named TAC Daily Challenges). When I save the file I use a naming convention as follows: “YYYYMMDD Challenge Type Name of Challenge”. For example today the file is “20230125 Improv Scale Parallel Parking”.

This is a bit redundant because once you have favorited the challenge you can also get to the tab. However, many times I cannot march the name of the challenge to the content. For example “parallel parking” does not lead me to understand it is an improv challenge.

    Happy playing!

Hi @Bill_Brown and thanks for taking some time to watch and provide input. I agree with you both in the content and length of the backing track.

When I first started noodling of the track and it abruptly stopped after 48 seconds I thought my computer froze up 😂. Nope – it was just done. 🙃

When the scale provided and the backing track are “busy”, it makes improv a bit challenging. I liked the chord pattern Tony was playing however with all the rolling and sliding going on it made it a bit of a challenge to parallel park! 😱😂🤣

In any case thanks for your feedback and encouragement! I truly appreciate it.

Yes! The track was super short. Wonder what’s up with that? 🙃

Thanks for the explanation @Bill_Brown . It really helps explain some of differences between how the videos are presented. Appreciate you my friend!
