Definitely a small win @subsailor731 ! Practicing and playing with a metronome will help you develop an ability to play with consistent timing throughout a song or practice session. Have fun! 😃

Congrats @dennisbrowne on completing the 30 days to play and diving into the challenges! Great win! I would agree the 5 Day Ghitar Routine Challenge would be a great next step. Play on 😎🎶🎸

Hi @BethL , first please accept my deepest sympathies regarding the passing of your mama. It is hard. She is in a better place, but it is still hard. Hang in there and celebrate the good memories… like this one you created and shared with us! What a great tribute to your mama. Your performance was really great – so accessible and authentic. Like a warm hug. Thanks so much for sharing and take care.

I’ve got so much equipment in my guitar room I am not using and right now I would like to figure out a way to get some reverb playing live using my MacBook Pro my guitar mic’d with a Scarlett 2i2 interface.
Still.. you never know because that ToneWood is very cool. Stay tuned! 😎😎

I would like to learn that one – will dig up the lesson. As others have indicated – great sound from your guitar. Is your guitar plugged in direct line or mic’d?

Sharp ears @Mrfredsporty ! Great win! 🏆😃
If you would like to go down the rabbit hole – look up Nashville Numbering System on Wiki! Also the elusive Fretboard Wizard course provides a solid background in all of this lingo (more formally music called theory) as to how a note scale and corresponding chord scale in that key are built. It is CODEX to the mystery! 🕵️♀️

Hi @Cadgirl , Paige makes a 12 string capo that uses a threaded clamp vs a spring loaded lever. Might want to check neck width.
I have a Paige capo I use on my 6 strings and really like it.
Here is a link to the page with their 12 string capo.

Awe @Mrfredsporty ! No more whipping of self with wet noodles. You are right – here you are now having a blast and learning! 😃. Win.
Here is a Kitman mind game thought: have you ever noticed there is no time except for right now. The past is only a memory, a thought that we imagine we remember. The future is the same except it is totally imagined. Look at now – only right now is real. Lol – I do not plan on pursuing any form of advisory line of work. My thoughts are too way out there.
Any who – great small win 😎🎸🎶

@Mrfredsporty thanks for sharing your small win – a big win in my book of discovery! @albert_d thanks for sharing your experience and use of the tuner for note learning experience. I’ve been playing along and suddenly noticed from the corner of my eye “oh the tuner is still in – better shut that off” – the old noggin just didn’t take that lateral leap! 😃

@subsailor731 that is a super win! So cool and good for you! Your are seeing the impacts of your daily time investment. 😎🎶🎸

I wonder what it is I am doing incorrectly when inserting a link? 🤔 This is at least the 3rd time I’ve attempted to pass info along (actually came to think of it, it was about Paige capos) and the link didn’t work. Glad you found the information in any case 😃
