I liked the chords voicings you were using during the fingered picking portion of your video. I have to agree with @the-old-coach here – least hear some more playing and singing! That is how we learn together. None-the-less thanks for your post and sharing your experience with the guitar.

Great performance @Marisa ! Great rhythm playing and super vocals. The song is very well suited for your voice. I also like how relaxed you were in your performance. You could tell you were comfortable and really enjoying it – that helps us all enjoy it with you! 🎶🎸😎

Great improv @Jonathandavid ! I am always impressed with how well you are sync’d up with the backing track and how calm your picking and fretting hands appear. I really like the choice of notes around time mark 0:40. Unexpected and very pleasing! 😎🎶🎸

A good song choice @Mrfredsporty ! Looking forward to hearing how it all evolve. By the way, posting the first, second, x takes are also helpful and instructive to us all to understand how the process works for you! 😃

Go forth and post @Mrfredsporty ! We all learn so much through this process and especially being able to watch one another’s posts. You are most likely better than what your own self critical mind is telling you. Go for it! 😃
Some thoughts: KISS – start out with something simple. Perhaps the chord progressions to a song or something on which you are working. If you need some help on editing (assuming you are meaning trimming the video) private message me and I will be happy to try to help.

Nice on @Guitargeezer-Jack ! I didn’t know they went back that far. A treasure trove and a win for sure! Thanks for sharing your find!

Great improv @Bill_Brown . Bends, vibrato, guitar face – you have it all! Your guitar came through loud and clear! Thanks for posting and great job! 😀

Lol, the OBS package is a bit overwhelming for sure @Cadgirl ! But… you are a CAD software expert, Yes? I find that to be one of the most overwhelming things I’ve attempted! 😂
For OBS, basically it helps us integrate all the things we want to include in a recording. Once you dive in if I can be of any help, let me know! 😃

Hey @subsailor731 , I think your post is meant for @Mrfredsporty . So,e times I’ve noticed TSC seems to pick up the “handle” of the last person that posted in the thread vs the original author. In any case – great to hear you will also be posting soon. Can’t go wrong with a CSN song. 😎 Also, seems like @the-old-coach is picking up Uhrichsville mantle as well. Wonder what song he is thinking about? 🤔

Thanks very much @bugmeist for taking your time to listen / watch and providing your feedback and encouragement. I truly appreciate it. 😃

Thank you very much for taking your time to watch the improv and provide your feedback and encouragement. I really appreciate it. I agree, the week was filled with Daily Challenges with a blues motif that were loads of fun. 😀

@Cadgirl and @Jonathandavid I have been yearning for a longer backing track for a couple of the entries lately. Cadgirl, are you referring to the video looping if you play the backing there? They definitely do that – right along with the “chunk, chunk, chunk, chunk” count in. I have been experimenting with a couple things: first finding a YouTube looper. They exist and claim to work although I haven’t been able to get them to work just yet 😂. It may be because TACs videos are not stored on YT (at least they don’t seem to be), or most likely operator error. 😂 The other experiment is downloading the MP3 of the backing track and pulling it into a DAW (GarageBand for example). Once the audio is inside the DAW we should be able to manipulate it (eg. make a second copy without the count in) and make as many duplicates as we wish for our playing pleasure. As I mentioned, experiments 🔬🧪to date. Will keep you updated! 😃

Hi there @Jonathandavid and thanks for taking the time listen to and provide your feedback. I agree with you – wish the backing track was longer. See my comments to @Cadgirl s reply regarding the backing tracks. Have some ideas brewing. 🔬🧪😃
