A friend of mine says “Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly at first.” I’ll bet you are not doing nearly as poorly to an outside observer as you are in your head. The consistency will get you there and Welcome to the TAC Journey?

Nice job introducing me to a new song. I was unfamiliar with it but am happy to hear your rendition.

Drama must be one of your super powers. I thought it was the sound track to a telenovela.

You can tell that you love the song and are making it your own.

I didn’t know Eric Clapton had a version. I just know Dorothy’s (Judy Garland’s) version. Thanks for a happy thought for the day. “My people come and go so quickly around here”.

Solid, steady blues progression. Great way to add some spice to your day. Good job.

I will hop on here and confirm all the positive feedback on the Fretboard Wizard. I did the original Fretboard Wizard some years back and have taken the newer Fretboard Wizard 2.0 a few times since for review. I get something new out of it each time I review it. It has opened my eyes and my enjoyment in playing to a new view of music appreciation. It has made less work of learning a song by reducing the memory process and replacing it with a logical understanding of what is going within the song. If you are serious about learning and appreciating the guitar (and it flows to other instruments) then Fretboard Wizard is a great value.

Great start. Not just with the 30 Days Blues but with untangling the process of recording and uploading to you tube. Congratulations.

How are the cats liking your guitar journey? Do they show the ambivalence for which they are noted? Just showing up to play is a good win.

Very good rendition. And your technique was excellent. Your voice reflects the mood of the song. I really enjoyed it, Thanks.

They are the same for everyone. What I have discovered over time though is the many layers you eventually find. As they occasion repeat, I find 1) I am better and they are more quickly refreshed and 2) I start to fuse the lessons with other ideas. For example (and @Bill_Brown and @jumpinjeff are very good at this) play the exercise at a different place in the neck (a different voicing) or on a single string or barre chord or chord shape. The lessans take the thought and planning out of what to do this week at a core level. Then I spend my time in enhancing the technique and completing my quarterly goals. Enjoy.
