Nice to see you post again. The feel of that minor key comes clearly through. Thanks for sharing.

Back when we had Jam Clubs in TAC, we had a January gathering and all changed our strings together. It was instructive for those uncomfortable with the process and a fun evening. After changing strings we had a song circle with a re-tuning between each song. I miss Jam Clubs.

It is encouraging when one comes back around and you recall the struggle the first time and now it seems like an old friend. Congratulations.

Thank you for sharing. Today 2/1 is the day Texas seceded from the Union. What a sad state of affairs was 1861.

You did the wise thing by adding the FBWizard. If you have time in your day I’d say do them both as they will reinforce each other. If not then I’d say the challenge during the week and the FBW on the weekends.

Thought provoking rendition and I appreciate it. I’ve lost parents after extended decline in 2022 and relate to it. Thanks. (Like the hammer ons and pull offs ).

A little John Prine from Costa Rica? Living the good life and having fun. Nice performance. Thanks for sharing.

That is a great win. I’ve tried with the click tracks and it is a real challenge for me too. Worse than a metro on for me because of the “publicness” of the situation.

What @Guitargeezer-Jack said plus you might want to throw in a song from the old song vault (now not supported)

I think is the link.

I don’t favorite as many as the others. I looked at my favorites and noted a trend. I tend to favorite scales ( mostly one per key), chord progressions I really like (mostly up the neck), and techniques that give me fits (mostly involving rhythm like Mississippi Timing… I still come back to that one because I have such trouble with it). I don’t save so many because I know that realistically I won’t ever come back to them. I’ll wait until they come around again. I also upload the tab for those I want to carry with me to practice when I’m out and not connected to the WORLD WIDE WEB (a rare but most pleasant phenomenon these days).

Yea. Now that is just… at least… a medium sized win. Some might even say a supersized win. Congratulations. You’ve seen TAC through a couple of revisions and are a happier, more versatile guitar geek. Please continue to enjoy the journey. After 1000 sessions you know the end is a mental construct like the earth’s horizon. You can walk toward it but you never get there. Congrats again.

Nice start to a lifestyle of music and fun. As others have indicated, to record is also a big step. I still have to make myself do it. One of my goals this year is to set myself up where recording is more of a process and less of a project. Congratulations and best on you TAC journey.
