Hi, I am late to this thread, but I want to throw my 2-cents in also.
First, so sorry to read about your sister. But, your wanting to learn this song for her is a wonderful thing.
I agree with what others have said, learn the song. Go slow, just play the chords, don’t expect it to be perfect at first. You will get better at it a little at a time.
As for TAC, try to do the daily lessons. 10 minutes at a time. Do the best you can, then move on to practicing your song. One of the things that I like best from the daily challenges is learning the little things. Hammer-ons, pull-offs, triplets, etc. And I have found myself using those techniques when trying to learn a song.
As Tony says, keep it fun!

I think it is great that you are DIYing the fix! Next thing you know, you might be heading down the road to being a luthier!!

That was very nice! Thanks for sharing.

Are any of these what you are looking for?

Yes, I’ve found they usually respond quickly. But this is the weekend, and a long holiday weekend at that; so it might not be until Monday when you get a reply. After all, everyone needs time off from work.

I love my smaller guitars! I think you should find a guitar that fits and is comfortable for you, that will make playing a better experience every time you pick it up.

I look at this from the other side of the coin. I always thought that the daily login streak reflected going to the site on a daily basis; I was surprised to learn otherwise. So as one of those people who use the daily streak as my own reference point, since it doesn’t seem to actually do anything other than giving myself a pat on the back, I was happy to learn that the count is now more accurately reflected.
But, that is just my two cents on the matter. I am sure others will feel like you.

I agree, I really like my Peterson tuner. I like that it has different tunings built into it.
