You could try do the jumpstart lessons in the skills section. When you get to the end of them they end with an ‘easy’ song freight train and billy in the low ground. Both these are great introductions to the style and quite rewarding to learn but don’t get overwhelmed if they are difficult to start with if you stick with it there will be lots of light bulb moments and connections will start to form.
As for the daily lesson set a timer to 10 mins and do your best on them even if it means really simplifying them eg just playing a few notes of the bar or trying to understand the rhythm, then if you are getting something out of it you will probably end up playing longer, if not you will definitely be learning something put it to the side, and you will be surprised next time the lesson pops up or a similar technique you will already be familiar with it and have the opportunity to get a better grasp.
Try not get too overwhelmed some of the lessons are above me but more often than not after playing every day for a while now I can get them and they are fun. Good luck

Whilst watching I was trying to name the birds and plants although we dont have a few of them over here but we have their relatives. You’ve captured spring perfectly. I really enjoyed that! Well worth all the time I’m sure you’ve put into it. Thank you.

I agree @Marquita a great episode. This is where Tony is at his best I love these lessons it’s just the small little comments sometimes in his lessons/videos but they really stick and help me learn the guitar.

Nice one poppa! I do wonder sometimes if I should take some time off give my brain chance to reboot. I just can’t help myself tho.

Great version as always David. Enjoyed watching. Envious of your guitar room love the lockers for your guitars.

Hey @Tbeats great to hear from you and your excitement/ enthusiasm for learning the guitar. I was in the same boat as you. I’ve been following Tac for about 3 months now and progressed more than I have in the last 25 years! Admittedly the guitar never really left it’s case.
I haven’t used those silicon things but I’d say, stick with it and build up those calluses. so you don’t become reliant on a product. Once your fingers have become accustomed I imagine the finger glove things would only get in the way also it’s another thing to lose I can’t keep hold of picks 😂

I didn’t know what a passerelle was until watching your video and then googling it. a really nice sound and I think it’s amazing how you can take the feeling of the changing of the season and turn it into sound like this. Without the visuals (which were great btw, I love going out very early every morning and listening to the woods waking up, there is no better sound than a blackbird chuntering/ singing before they go to bed) and the title I think I could have still guessed that you were implying spring with your music. Sorry for going on, thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for that @jumpin’jeff ! I’ll bookmark that. Although I’ve also taken the precaution of printing a few different things so when I can’t get on I Have a back up plan. Have a nice weekend.
