Sailing takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free….. -
“Horse With No Name” is one of the first songs I attempted to learn and play. It is basically only two chords isn’t?

Happy birthday to Tony!
I asked a friend why he was licking his guitar.
He said he had a good taste in music.

I like your suggestions a lot and I need to “get back in the saddle” after putting my acoustic guitar down a long time ago. I lost two family members – my mother in December 2020 and most recently, my eldest sister in May 2021. She was only 60 years old. So, I need to readjust myself and start playing again. I think music is therapy.

You are very welcome! I always think it’s interesting when the artist talks about a song.

@Cadgirl I also like Ultimate Guitar too. I use it all the time to find song tabs. I have heard of Jerrysguitarbar, but I will have to investigate that one. Around holiday time I like to use Ultimate Guitar to find easy Christmas song tabs.

@Loraine Here are links to Justin Guitar and Andy Guitar if anyone else is interested. I just signed up for Justinguitar.com. I have watched a few videos of Andyguitar in the past. I think these two website would be great supplemental material for us TACers.

@Marquita I am glad you are able to carry on with the guitar regardless of your arthritic flare-up. My condition is much more minor compared to yours. My left pinkie finger doesn’t bend correctly due to a softball injury (a 16″ softball jammed on the end of my finger) I had 30 years ago. I had ligament damage, and I am not able to bend the finger at the top joint. Surprisingly, I can use the finger when fretting, etc. I think we find ways to compensate for our shortcomings somehow, and make the best of it. @flytyr It sounds like you are doing much better after your injury. I agree– keep on keepin’ on.

@andy_e It looks like an amazing instrument and I bet it sounds great as well. Thanks for sharing with us.

@Marisa I am always glad to share. I find it interesting to listen to Brad Delp’s voice isolated, and what an incredible range the guy had. I know the Boston debut album is amazing.
