Nice harmony and clearly people were listening from audience response. Background noise (talking) greatly reduced toward the end – got their attention @Marisa ! Very enjoyable to listen to.

Just so happens Tony discussed the guitar player’s pain/injury topic yesterday on his Acoustic Tuesday show.

Welcome to TAC @maryd !
Couple of suggestions as you develop more wrist and finger strength of your fretting hand.
There is a great TAC Skill Course about daily stretching exercises that I have found helpful to limber up and strengthen oneself prior to daily playing.
Consider using a simple wrist band brace. That really helps to reduce fatigue and discomfort when learning a barre chord such as the F chord shape.
@That_Guy suggestion is important too. Tony has other suggestions as well in the Barre Chord Skill Course.
Stay with it.

@Ernesto – I just heard both your posts and agree with @Bill_Brown both are well played, especially for just getting back to it. Beautiful sounding guitars you have. Tell us about both the Guild and the???? I recall my daughter listened to and sang while playing her guitar the Foo Fighters song back in the late 1990s. Both are great songs acoustically. Thanks for posting.

Love John Prine, especially this one. You do it justice @Marisa !
I did some traveling south too this past week to Belize and Costa Maya, Mexico, as stops on a 60/70’s music cruise featuring Justin Hayward and many others. Got to hear and speak with a (young) guitarist, Mike Dawes, who recently recorded with his guitar hero, Tommy Emmanuel. Mike is a percussionist guitarist from the UK and very entertaining – currently touring with Hayward. Able to hear him do two sets on board the ship. Check him out on YouTube. Lots of energy!!

I was able to view your new one with the link. Beautiful. Look forward to hearing it when you play for us.

Congratulations (condolences if your wife finds out like mine did after seeing the recent credit card statement). I just remind her there are way worse vices!
Enjoy your new baby!

@Fletch and bandmates – as a long time Moody Blues obsessed fan, your music reminds me so very much of Ray Thomas vocals. I will be seeing Justin Hayward soon on a rock n’ roll themed cruise. The melodic nature of your voice is wonderful.

@EMG – OMG (goodness) – Play on & prosper! The number 1000 is said to symbolize enlightenment, positivity and promise for (guitar) angels.
-
@Bill_Brown , I agree with your observation to incorporate that riff more into it. I am impressed @That_Guy – play on!

Anticipation is part of the joy when acquiring a new guitar – worth the wait. Wishing you @Brian-76 many years of bliss and fulfillment with your Taylor.

Good for you @Loraine
Mike told me he will touring the Northeast after the Hayward tour concludes. I got his master course guitar shaped thumb drive to give my son-in-law (former professional guitarist) as a gift. That percussive technique is well beyond my poor arthritic fingers and hands!
I found him to be very approachable. I sat within 5 to 10 feet of him (as you know he moves/jumps around constantly!) at the “Bar City” stage on the Norwegian Pearl ship. So skilled and fun to watch. Fantastic sense of humor too!
I now proudly wear his “precision acoustic” logo tee shirt.
