I agree. Strum technique suits the classic song very well @Marty69

Congratulations @stevieblues ! Tony says consistency is the key to guitar playing success. Maybe you haven’t done (I didn’t know it existed) the skill course “5 day guitar routine challenge” that is designed to bridge the “30 days to play” course before crossing into the weekly daily challenges. I am fairly certain the course was recently added but maybe I overlooked it a year ago when I started TAC.
I decided to go through that course this weekend. Glad I did as it has made me feel better about the struggles I have had with certain daily challenges as a novice guitarist.
You and I are doing great by just by picking up our guitars on a consistent basis! Call it a win win.

Your music brought back memories of sailing rough waters on the Atlantic while crewing on large yachts back as a teenager. The intensity, fervor and then ebb of the wind and sea comes through.

Thanks for your encouraging words. It’s actually difficult to sing through a KN95 mask! 😩 As you say, it’s PRACTICE for playing and singing. This time a much more up tempo tune than I have done before.

@Loraine I found it to be a refreshing review for the basics of Daily Challenges. I suspect you will too.

Very well stated Mentor Mike.

@Marty69 Always nice to hear from another of my “M” TAC friends that I so enjoy listening to your play for us videos. I am working toward gaining more guitar proficiency so to further improve my vocals. Been singing in choirs for over 50 years, playing guitar about one year so got some ground to cover. I really do appreciate the encouragement from TAC members!

Thank you @Jonathandavid – Chapin had a number of great albums but the Verities and Balderdash is one of my favorites in the LP collection.
