Hi again.

So let me get this straight:

• I should get an AI (more questions to come in this subject alone)
• With an AI I can plug my SHURE BETA 58A for vocals and get an instrument mic for guitar or plug her using the FISHMAN internal system. (or can I use my IRIG2 and plug the guitar to an AI?)

This system will let me

• Record to a DAW (more questions on this subject)
• Play through ZOOM

I’m sorry if I’m bothering anyone with so many questions… but, as you can see, I’m taking my first steps on these subjects…

I totally subscribe your post.

Been a TAC member since jan17. Not the most active one. Been in and out due to work-related things… But I never quit being a member. TAC rocks. Met Tony online, (helped me to choose my guitar). Been with Acoustic Tuesday Show since its very beginning.

Three things kept me here.

1. Tony and the team. The constant support, the positiveness.
2. The philosophy of having a guitar gym daily workout.
3. The community itself.

Over this 4 year, lots of things have evolved. Ok, we are witnessing a major evolution. Some things are better others are not that great. But, for me at least, those 3 points are a constant. They keep unaltered.

I do not have the heart to say to the guy that always encouraged me (us) and never told me to keep my day job due to the “stinkyness” of my playing.

Is the site slower? Definitely.

Is green a much prettier color than orange? Of course, it is.

Will I miss the “gamier” aspect of the old site? Well, not really… never was much into it…

Tony and the team are here. The community is here.

• Or should I prefer mixing usb table (https://www.thomann.de/pt/behringer_xenyx_x1204_usb.htm or https://www.thomann.de/pt/behringer_xenyx_x1622_usb.htm). But these don’t have midi (what do I need midi for… I know, stupid question… but I don’t know…)

• Or should I just save everything with my Iphone?

Hi.

Started the 30 Days To Play Guitar Challenge last Monday (March 29). I felt the need to brush up after so many years without playing.

After this first week, my fingers are throbbing, and I have blisters on index and ring finger.

Hope to keep up with you through this next 3 weeks. After that I intend to follow with the Daily Challenge until I complete the 90 days routine.

And I have to correct your correction. I haven’t played for about 1,5 to 2 years. Started again last March 27. But with full intention, as if I had never stopped. I had mini calluses. Now I have blisters underneath the mini calluses… hurt like hell. But the worst phase is over since they are already reabsorbing…
