I’ve always sung, though I’m new to playing music. So playing songs came naturally. You might try playing to a song to the original or a cover, keeping tempo, following along with the chord changes, and listening to the dynamics of the music. Just a thought…

Gee, I wanted to try these strings. I don’t like the feel of Elixir strings. But I don’t like too bright. I’ve been using Martin 11-52 phosphor bronze, uncoated. Will have to try the Lifespans and see if they are nice.
Like others have said, would like to hear what you think in a couple of weeks @johnv.

If you can get onto my youtube page (Michelle -PSL), they are all in a playlist called 100DaystoPlay. Day 31 was Yellow, Day 71 was The C.O.V.I.D. Blues, Day 97 was Dreams.

The song I think I learned the most from was “Yellow” by Coldplay. It was that constant strumming rhythm. Really made me focus on my timing.
There were many songs that I enjoyed playing. But maybe a tiny bit more than the others was “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac. Just love that song.

Thanks so much @dennisg ! And right back at you! I took a little break, though not from guitar. Still playing/practicing daily. Just took time out from recording and from VOMs. But I played in two VOMs this weekend, so I’m gearing up again. Focusing on technique now.😊
