That’s just great @bugmeist . And I have to say, speed it a relative thing. If we go from 40 bpm to 50 bpm, then we did increase in speed and that’s the whole point of the “speed challenge”. So yeah, you did it. Way to go.

whether it seems like it or not, that’s actually a pretty good win @riccsnet . Congratulations. You can look forward to many more. It’s the daily practice routine that does the trick.

Hey John;
The wait is almost over. I’m sure most of the time your wait was for them to get to your instrument. Now that they are working on it, you know it’s just a matter of a fairly short time. You must be very excited.
By the way, your “nickname” must have no spaces in it and be unique. I don’t know if JohnHall or John_Hall or John-Hall are unique, but you could give one of them a try. You’ll get a notification on my comment because I replied to your post. But if I tried to tag you in a comment that wasn’t a direct reply to your post or one of your comments, you wouldn’t get a notification.
Again, congrats. I certainly hope to hear this wonderful resonator when you have her in your hands.

Yes, I agree with @Loraine , @AttyTJ , congratulations. I am working on getting my count up there. I kept starting over because I would do my practice after midnight and that would reset my counter. Now I’ve figured out a way to keep the counter going, but I’m 6 months behind you. I do believe the most important thing the TAC system gives us is that daily practice routine.

I’m happy for you @JoeW . As long as you’re doing something creative, it’s all good. I was in a play every year during High School and I loved it. You have a demanding schedule now. Make sure you don’t lose the fun of what you’re doing, otherwise, what’s the point?
As far as guitar, I totally agree with @Loraine . We’ll be here. I’m sure we’d all come and watch your play if we were in the area. I look forward to hearing about the success of the shows. Maybe give us a video peak?

I’m glad you’re ready to get back to playing, Janet ( @highihid ). I wish you speedy recovery and much guitar improvement and fun. I don’t think I can add anything to the excellent advice that has already been given. I just wanted to wish you well.

yeah, @SoCal_Ian , for me the VOMs are the event/activity I never had. But I certainly can’t fault anyone for going out and engaging in real life. I’ll look forward to seeing you when you can make it.

Thanks so much @VictoriaTACTeam for this specific info. I will look forward to the next Fretboard Wizard course. Always lots of fun questions are generated so I can indulge in my favorite subject, music theory. 😂

By the way, I’m STILL learning both to get the correct “feel” through my strumming and to release tension. That’s why I’m so impressed with your performance here.
