Keep on going, that’s not a straightforward technique so well done. 🤟😎🎸

Played fine for me and sounding great. Reclaiming the acoustic guitar as the instrument of the protest song! 🤘😎🎸

Sounds like TAC really struck a chord (sorry, I’m embarrassed about that already). Glad the first year has worked out and you’ve come away with a sense of achievement. So many new year resolutions just never make it past week two. Keep on rockin’ the fretboard. 🤘😎🎸

Ooh – loving the tabacco sunburst on that. Both my acoustic and electric have a similar look – classic – and coincidentally my Yamaha AC3R has a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides [great minds…. 🤔].

Hope you enjoy your new aquisition and get lots of inspiration from it. Darren [Moonhare] 🤘😎🎸

Well done on your 300! Fabulous to see these milestones coming up on the feed when you log in. I hope you get on well with the finger style percussion. This is something I’ve really worked on over the last 100 days and I am having a blast with it. Just sounds so fabulous once it clicks in. Been posting a few on the forum as I gain confidence. Best of luck with this – it really is worth it! Darren [Moonhare] 🤘😎🎸

Yes it really is worth trying out. Obviously you have to retune but I decided to learn this with my old guitar so I could leave my new one in standard for the daily challenges then just retuned my Yamaha as a one off to do the video.

Thank you so much for that. I couldn’t work out why the recording came out so hissy and this morning found out that my mic was not actually working as Windows 11 update rerouted to my laptop internal mic. Oh well at least you can hear it.

Sorry I didn’t reply. Missed the post at the time but thank you. I really enjoyed learning this one. If only I had enough guitars to always have this tuning set up on one!

That’s so kind of you to say @Guy_H. Weekends tend to be when I ditch the formal and just have a play around and it is getting more rewarding as time goes on.

Thanks a lot @TMutter. Messing around with different techniques really helps with the creativity. Speaking of which is there anywhere to listen to your EP or download?

I miss playing live I have to say. Covid knocked all that on the head just as I was starting to get back into it but of course I may never have started to learn guitar if it wasn’t for lockdown so silver linings to everything if you look hard enough.
