Lovely playing on this one @charlie_d and that guitar has a beautiful sound too. Never played a Guild but looks like a really nice instrument.

Thanks for posting this question. I did the 30 days course earlier this year and thought I will at least breeze through the basic chords I already knew then the 4 finger G came up. I was used to the 3 finger version and assumed I’d been doing it all wrong. I’ve been trying to force myself to play the 4 finger version ever since but it is still tripping me up. Having read the comments from @Bill_Brown @jumpinjeff and @that_guy I now feel I can hold my head up high and play the chord I’m used to when it makes sense. Thanks all! 🤟😎🎸

Awesome! Now that is the sort of thing I’m trying to learn for my 90 day progress. Flat picking has been new to me since joining TAC in April. Very inspiring. 🤟😎🎸

You said it! Fun is the key here. Some of the challenges are just beyond me at thd moment but I give them 10 then move on. I have found my playing move forward more in 8 months than the last 40 years jyst by turning up each day and doing something beyond my current skill level. Now I’m getting comfortable with things I couldn’t play when I started I spend another 20 mins to an hour jamming around in my “new” comfort zone. Fun? Hell yeah! Keep on Rockin @Rodger 🤟😎🎸

Hi there. Reading through the various exchanges I thought I’d rattle off a quick video reply to your query for @Carol-3M-Stillhand because sometimes it is easier to see something demonstrated than to describe it in words. Hope this helps out. 🤘😎🎸

MemberDecember 3, 2021 at 12:55 am in reply to: Autumn Leaves – an original track in Open GThanks so much. To be honest I wouldn’t have got even close to this when I started TAC in April. Although I naturally lean towards finger style I’d never dabbled with alternate tunings or percussive stuff so I just keep on doing the 10 mins a day minimum and it really works.
