Hey great job. Never been to a VOM – I imagine that’s pretty nerve wracking because there’s no going back to re-record. Hope this is the first of many recordings.

Thanks @MikeGaurnier for taking the time out to comment. You always put a lot of thought into your comments and they really help those of us who are not a long way through the journey yet. Finger picking is probably the thing I find easiest. I had never really used a flatpick until I joined TAC so that is where I am focussing my attention but on those occasions when we get invited to finger pick, I think yes – why not. I really enjoy it. Now back to the barre chords to learn a bit of humility!

Day 1. Well a big welcome to TAC then! Glad you had this down. I’ve been struggling with barre chords as everyone on the forum knows. But hey, if I knew how to do all this stuff I wouldn’t be here! I hope you have a great time and perhaps see you at the January 90 Day TAC party online.

Thanks @Bill_Brown . I am feeling my way into the daily challenges month by month. The licks are probably the ones I have the best success with (not all but most) but the Fridays have been fallow ground for me so far. Glad I’ve broken in!

thanks Mike – always a pleasure to hear from you and just illustrate that what seems impossible one month will be a possibility the next. I believe the phrase is – it’ll be alright in the end. If it’s not alright, it’s not the end.

Do you only have a tablet or can you use a laptop? It works really well on a PC using the same method that @Fly showed in the screen grabs. I’m fortunate enough to have a laptop hooked up to a monitor so I can also set the laptop screen with the tab and the monitor with the vid, but I realise that’s not an option for most.
