I really like those alternate tunings so hope you had a lot of fun with drop D. I realise now how so many of the songs I love are actually not in standard tuning. Need enough guitars to keep one in each tuning though! Guitarsenal goal I guess.

That’s so cool. It’s a musical so sneak a guitar in! LOL.

Great job @christianfischersydney. Something to do in lockdown! I have a good guitarist friend in Sydney who is getting a lot of practice at home at the moment. Keep at it now. It is really worthwhile and there are so many supportive people on the forum.

Now that’s where I’d like to be. Well done!

Thanks @PaulL – a 🤘back at ya!

So kind of you to say. I just love being on the bike and really enjoyed touring with Chewy across the mountains. The music and bikes are intertwined in my head now. The very best to you @MarkD66

Thanks @stevieblues. I think what made it so hard was that because we were in lockdown in the UK I simply couldn’t be there for him in those last months but was able to invite him to the virtual premiere of his track on YouTube so that was something.

Thank you. Strange playing along to yourself!

Thanks so much. I’ve written in 11/8 before but this one is straight down the line 4/4. However I was trying to strum across the beat so you may be picking up on that. The bass was pretty off beat too.

So sorry to hear about about your accident. Confidence is 90% of riding and once you lose it it ceases to be any fun. I’ve been a member of the horizontal biker club too but thankfully not broken any bones and always able to get straight back on and ride home. So far I feel right at home as soon as I get on my Harley and head off to visit a castle, nature reserve, diner etc. in my home county. Just enjoy things while you can is my motto.

Wow! so we can all play along with Stevie now!

I think the ring you get from open strings is just a wonderful sound so that gives a whole new texture.
