That was great. Now that I’m technically an old man (80) I can really identify with this song and you did a wonderful job. I wish i could have seen a little more of your guitar so I could see even more of your playing. Thanks again

Yes, Grasshopper, the long journey has begun with one step in the right direction.

I especially like all the little licks in it. Thanks so much

How cool. I would have been nervous and feeling I wasn’t good enough.

It takes a while for this to sink in. You don’t have to know it all . Just obey the number 1 rule which is (say it with me now),”SHOW UP!”

So sorry to hear about your family.sometimes just continuing a small but
I meaningful routine can help.more importantly you will find that the folks of tac are so supportive and caring and will be with you throughout this trying time.

Try the Tony way first.then do it your way.as Tony says,”if it sounds good,it is good”. At least you are exposed daily to different avenues. Which route you take is ultimately up to you

A night to remember for sure!his talk about Martin guitars is fun to watch on YouTube but NOTHING could beat the live experience you had.

Ditto on everything folks are saying. Keep showing up for the game and eventually you will be taken off the bench and played. Often the challenge is way over my head but every once in a while I can do it or part of it.as we used to say in the 60s, “Keep on truckin’ “

Now wait a minute. Your first lesson and it’s not perfect?.DUH. Every one on this site knows that frustrating feeling. Maybe check out a few finger stretching exercises.BUT….the main rule is show up.in other words what you will hear here every day is consistency is the number 1 key. Don’t get discouraged.if you try EVERY DAY suddenly the fingers will start hitting the right notes once in awhile and then often and finally consistently. You are on your way!

Ta da! It just slowly starts creeping up on you until suddenly ….Ta da!
