I feel for the people in Bozeman. This must be a frustrating day plus, and I hope they are well. I believe they are trying.

It might be that the message from Tony P., today that it was up and rolled out early is causing the response and analysis, @branman. They asked for input, and many of us tried to help.

Interesting, and thanks for the input all.
For me, at the moment, It took my name and Nickname in the update of my profile, but it does not find me in the flagging, yet and name lists. I reported it to Admin, and i am sure it is a glitch, but it finds another T. someone, not me.
I am using the same Nickname and first name, so I did not track that @michael k73 (and no list appears so who knows who I just flagged when I hit post) and your information is helpful regarding what to look for in the process of learning.
I suggest this is an issue to throw to the “What’s New?” post as they asked for feedback in comment to that.
At least it is nice to see some of us made it through the black hole. Hoping for progress.

Thanks @Mike Gaurnier. I am working on the permanent link today for my 1/2 of the VWA.
Some notes I will pass through the “What’s New” page:
My Nickname is NOT registering, including that I have redone it so it is new. I now see there are others with a similar name, but nothing pinged me to tell me to be more unique.
2nd, using this post, I can not pull you or @michelle in PSL up in the name menu to flag. You, I get nothing, Michelle, I get a whole passel of Michelles that are not her.
It is likely, if it does what it did yesterday, when I Post, it will grab others than you two, and you can see what I am talking about.
The post you put up includes some of the coding commands, but they did not take. FWIIW, this is one reason I stopped trying to learn WordPress, but I am sure they will get it figured out.

Nope. Three Characters. T.J, but the system is treating my . (Period) as a Space. Note, For T.J. Dutton, not so.
MIke, somebody should have run this through a serious Beta Test before unleashing it. It was supposed to be one of the main fixes justifying the new software system. As I know you are only the messenger, I have copied @levi, his is one name that works. @tony p ‘s does not.

thanks for that Mike, but still doesn’t work. It now reliably brings up T.J. Dutton, every time. The other 3 that were there are now gone. I am never on the list, and my name and Nickname match the criteria you described.
