Yes, the skill courses offer quite a bit. Whenever you start the Daily Challenge part; which works on the same essential skills every week, Monday through Friday, but with different material; it will seem overwhelming (at least it did to me). Step in, put in your time, do the best you can; and move on, day to day, then week to week. Perseverance, not perfection. I had weeks I didn’t really understand much. It is the daily consistency that, even though it seems to add up slowly, that eventually builds up the guitar skills. Keep it fun; don’t compare; and just enjoy. -
@Bill_Brown It is a Washburn, concert size; all mahogany. It is not that expensive (around $550 when I bought it); but the sound beat out other guitars up to $300 more.

Nice one Kevin! In 1969 I was 17. When you take off in that time machine, stop by and pick me up along the way. A visit to that time would be nice for a short while. Have a good weekend!

That’s it; learn, play, post. Way to go! This one’s a bit tricky; especially for someone newer to guitar. I hadn’t seen you post before, so clicked on your profile. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I have been there also; though quite a bit older than you; and it does hit us hard. Enjoy music; enjoy the journey of playing; and just go forward at your own pace and way. Welcome to TAC! Keep yourself well.

Nice one Loraine! A classic.

Nice! Way to go. You have your chord shapes down. Next time you will see even more progress. I have done this one 2 or 3 times, and seeing improvement is a great encouragement to keep going.
