Nice! I listened to both, this has more projection, both sounded good. I have tried various finger picks, and just can’t get used to them. I grow my nails longer on my picking hand and do the best I can. You finger pick well. Thanks for sharing!

Aha! Guild’s are nice; had one at one point. I saw the G on the head stock and presumed then from some of the features. Nice looking and sounding guitar. -
@TMutter
I was thinking that the stomp box could be useful in some songs. I haven’t been playing with it enough to know how hard it would be to keep the rhythm with it through a whole song. Is it difficult to keep good time with? Is it just a matter of practice with it; or do you have a great sense of timing that translated well? -
Good to see you again! That sounded great; so clean and clear. I think I am jealous of your Gibson.

I have enjoyed using an acoustic amp and different pedals to give a variety of sounds. I have found quite a few used, cheaper, to save. My favorite guitar pedal is a delay. A chorus, or chorus combined with delay is also nice at times. I use a modest reverb to fill out vocals. I hope you get a chance to experiment and see what you like.

Thanks for listening, and allowing me to waste your time. I was just messing and thought I would share (not sure why). I have found that as I have played longer, it is fun to experiment with different sounds. Thanks again! -
That’s great. I had learned a few chords maybe 15 years ago, but was too busy working and with life to be consistent, and I had no direction. I joined TAC in 2020 and have found it great for what I needed. I am 72 now, and so starting quite old (and with the usual limits of mobility and arthritis in the hands), it has been a challenge; but playing daily, I have progressed, enjoy it, and finally feel like I can say I play guitar (even though I have my limits). The skill courses offer quite a variety, and once you are into the Daily Challenges, you are on your way. Even when a week of the Daily Challenge has been over my head, and ability, just playing through, the best I can; I have grown. Keep on going and enjoy the journey. Welcome!

Nice job!

I am probably misunderstanding; but with an open C chord; the 5th string (A), C note (fretted on the 3rd fret), would be using the ring finger the way I believe it is usually played; unless you have a different way of fingering it.
By the way; 72 here; I get the challenges with older hands, stiffness, and arthritis.
