Hi Dean ( @Deacap ), @jumpinjeff has given you some good things to think about regarding timing and tempo – very important things in music. I would like to call your attention to the “tab” for the Blues Shuffle. You can find that by clicking on the music notes icon, located just below the video box, to the right of the heart icon – they’re very light grey icons and easy to miss. Anyways, once you bring up the tab, you can print it out or use the picture-in-picture feature and play along with Tony. The nice thing about using the tab (Tablature) is that when you follow it, you won’t loose count!

👏👏👏 Way to go Christian ( @christianfischersydney )👍👍 Welcome to TAC, glad to see your post😎 If you’re looking for direction, I would suggest the “Next 6 Chords” course in the Skills section, and from there, choose a “Jumpstart” course – there are 3 of them (and keep in mind that there are 2 pages of courses). When the music theory bug hits you🤔, there is the “Foundations of Fretboard Navigation” course and ultimately, “Fretboard Wizard”💡💡🤩💡💡 – which will give you many light bulbs going off in your head. Most of all, keep your guitar journey fun🎸

Hi @dustyoldchips , sorry to learn about your wife – my heartfelt blessings to you and your family.
On the bottom left side of the screen, there’s a question mark with a circle around it. Click on that icon and it’ll take you to the TAC Admin page. From there, at the bottom right side of that page is a green “Chat” icon. Click on that and type your message – someone will respond to you in a couple of hours.

Thank you Craig ( @riverjordan_61 ), as you’re aware, that journey is a long one.
I think @Kristin1 has a good way to help you with the “looking” problem. I think looking is ok, but you don’t want to turn the guitar onto your lap to look, then your wrist will be all out-of-wack and will cause more pain in your hand and fingers. On the edge of the guitar neck, there should be some kind of dots – those dots line up with the ones on your fretboard. Using those dots to “look” should help you to keep the guitar in a more proper position👍🎸
