Hi @Niels , Happy 4th TACiversary🎂 Really like your commitment to playing Bass Guitar (I saw the one you had sitting on a stand during your last improv). I hope this doesn’t mean we won’t get to see more 6 string improvs from you in the future😱 I’ve looked forward to your renditions in the recent past and hope that you’ll keep them coming – they provide great inspiration for all🤩

  • Great song choice TJ (@AttyTJ )👍👍 Nice rendition👏👏

Very nicely played @BobGarrity1 👏👏👏 Great rendition👍👍 That one always brings a tear to my eye. So I heard someone ask at the VOM about your mother-in-law’s reaction but the video cut off😮before we got to hear your answer. Just curious🤔

Awesome @Jon_M 🤩 Doing something every day is the idea, and keeping it fun👍 That’s where it starts, and by doing so develop more consistency in your playing and eventually see progress😎 Welcome to TAC and best wishes to you on your guitar journey!

Hi Ursula ( @campfire ), No there isn’t a C string, but there is at least one C note on every string. You’re currently working through the “Foundational Five” section of FW. If you go back to the beginning of that section, above the video box you will see a Lesson and a Materials tab. Click on the Materials tab, and when the screen changes you’ll see right below “to download materials click Here“. That’s where you’ll find the Foundational 5 Workbook. It’ll have some more detailed explanations and examples of key points, in writing, so you can look at it and perhaps understand things a little better. At the beginning of each major section of FW, you’ll find a Materials tab above the video box.

    Hope this helps

Hey Bill ( @William-S ) nice to see you posting! I’m glad you brought up that lesson, it was making me think, wouldn’t it be nice if @tonypolecastro643 or @TonyP – whichever one is him – could come up with a course on Modes? Maybe it could be an add-on to FW or perhaps it’s own separate course🤔, but I was thinking that it would be really nice if it were to happen🤩. Not really interested in looking for other sites to find that stuff – I’m on this computer too much as it is(lol)🤣

Way to keep time @johnny67 👍 Tempo is an important aspect of playing that’s often overlooked – I know, because I’m sometimes guilty of overlooking it myself😱

@davefive , when you’re on the main Forums page, at the top you’ll see all the pictures with the titles of the various Forums (example, the Forum that you’ve posted on is titled “Show Off Your Routine”). Click on the “Play For Us” Forum. At the top of the new screen, you’ll find information on the VOM’s and a link to more detail. Click on that link and you’ll find more detailed information

Above is the link that I was trying to describe – Good luck Dave and remember to always have fun when playing guitar!
