Hi Robert ( @rmgloves ), I found that there’s a downloadable mp3 file available (no video files) when you click on the “attachments” button at the upper right hand corner of the screen of the “intro” video. I have a MAC, so the file downloads directly to my “Music Library”. From there, I use the “repeat” icon. The only down side is that whatever Tony says at the end of the “intro” gets repeated also.
Hope this helps👍

Hi @Mark-D , I use 2 sound hole Humidiypaks (placed in the sound hole) and put my guitar in the case and close it up every night. I do this every night, regardless of what season it is, because if the furnace isn’t running then the AC is😱

MemberSeptember 4, 2021 at 8:16 am in reply to: I still can’t switch chords without distorting the soundHi @NW7 , I agree with everyone’s comments, no one will play like a rock star in a couple of months😱 It’s going to take time, patients, and lots of (consistent) practice👍 That being said, there’s another aspect that crossed my mind when reading your post. What about your guitar? Is the string action too high or too low? When the action is too high, that means the strings are too high above the frets, causing much more pressure to be exerted on the strings to fret a chord – thus “gorilla grip” as mentioned by @Alfred . If the action is too low, meaning the strings are too close to the frets. That results in a buzz sound from the strings vibrating against other frets when playing notes or chords. The rule of thumb is that strings should be 3/32 of an inch (measured at the 12th fret) distance above the frets to the bottom of the strings. Just something else to consider🤔

That’s some nice stuff @Brian2501 👏👏👏 Great fingerstyle work👍👍 Well worthy of a solo badge – if this was the old format.

You know @stevieblues , with that E shaped barre chord (F when barred at the 1st fret) you have 11 more chords in your pocket – but I’ll bet you knew that!

You can live with it the way it is and continue to use extra pressure to fret notes and chords, or you can take it to a local music shop and have someone there look at it to see if they can adjust it for you. They may recommend a “set-up” as @tailswaggin mentioned. That may be just the “ticket” for you and your guitar🤔

Yes @stevieblues , it’s well worth it👍 In fact, taking that shape with the index barring at the 5th fret (A chord) or the 7th fret (B chord) is a great place on the neck to work it and practice it, because there is less string tension and should be easier on the fretting hand – you won’t have to squeeze as hard. Try it and see what you think🤔

🤔Clearly bold👍👍
