@GuitarGeni It sounds like a great practice routine. You sound as if you’re very busy with the guitar and find great joy in it.
P.S. I’m always a little envious of others that have mastered the metronome. I keep playing with it, but it does not always play out well.
Keep up the great routine!

That’s fantastic @Alphajim5 ! It’s a fun course, and when things begin to click it makes it even better. Have fun with it, and keep up the great work!

It is definitely a course to be revisited, and I pick up something new everytime I go through it. Keep up the great work @GuitarGeni !

What a few years you have had, and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to meet you and know you a little through the VOM’s. You have an amazing songwriting talent, and I’m inspired by your journey and resilience.
Keep up the great work Terry, and I look forward to continuing our journey together.

Hi @trish91 and welcome to TAC.
I haven’t done the 90 day journal in a while, but if you look back at Steps 2 & 3 mentioned on pages 5 and 6, I believe it is plan for your week and list obstacles and how to overcome them.

Sounds right up my alley @Guitargeezer-Jack ! I have such a love/hate relationship with my metronome. I typically tune it out. This might just be the ticket. lOL

Hi @GuitarGeni Even gifted players have to spend hour upon hour learning and practicing. I heard Tommy Emmanuel say that he learned the same way everyone else does and he has to breakdown songs into small sections to learn them. He has spent 100’s of thousands of hours practicing and playing, but there is no denying that he is extremely gifted at his craft. Others that have spent 10000 hours practicing, as you have, may be better or worse. If someone hears your playing as a gift, then just accept it and say thank you. They don’t need to know the pain, journey, or details of how you got to that point. Feel good that you’ve given them something they enjoyed.

Great win Jackie! I typically watch the videos once but then rely just on the tablature.

Very Grateful For This Community@TMutter I was going through a deep depression when I found TAC, and between the lessons and finding joy in something and the awesome community and VOM’s I was able to claw my way back to sanity. Not only did they help lift me and carry me at the beginning, they’ve been so supportive during the last year as a caregiver for my mother, the loneliness of COVID, and the passing of my mother in recent months. TAC is more than just a guitar community.
I’m so glad you found us and are here. Your songs heal people, help them express their feelings, and they lift people out of their own darkness. You have a gift and are selfless in your sharing of it. I’m very proud of you!
