Now I’m the complete opposite of @Moonhare , I need the tab to make sense of everything. However, I typically follow the video first, but then I’m usually lost trying to remember what Tony shows us, so I can’t wait to get to the tab.

Hi Karen – In addition to the stretching, keep in mind that your fingers will become more flexible through practice and building up stamina and strength in your fingers. If you’re having a difficult time, you can always practice with a capo on the 5th fret and begin there, and then gradually move the capo back up the neck to the 3rd fret and then eventually have no capo on at all when making the chords.

Welcome to the TAC community @Danny75 ! I had never played guitar before either before starting, and I actually called strings ‘keys’ – lol. Great advice to begin with the 30 days to play and then the next 6 chords after that. I didn’t begin the daily challenges until after I completed these. Be kind and patient with yourself, and always remember to have fun (you can’t help but have fun in the 30 days to play course).

Congrats on your 1 year TACiversary @markvguitar !! Sounds like you’ve come far in the past year, but you still have much more learning ahead of you. You have a full arsenal of things to do over the upcoming year, and I have no doubt that you’ll succeed based on history. Keep up the great work!

Hi @zoso You can always search the members by clicking on your name at top right of page and then members and searching by city, state, or search word. You might find local members that way and be able to directly message them to see if they’d be interested. Good luck!

You can go to ultimate-guitar and search for the song title. This will bring up the chords you need. This is a beautiful song that I wasn’t familiar with before. You’ll do great. Just take your time.

Hi @IMPBW Ive been trying to post several times but had technical difficu lites. Hoping they’re straightened out.
First, your sister and you are beautiful, and I’m so sorry to hear of how sick she is. That must be so difficult for the family.
You’ve received some great advice above, so I won’t repeat it. I did print out the tablature for the song. Suggestion is to learn the chords and th e strum one time per chord. It won’t be as full as the original, but you’ll be playing a song and vocals can be added.
Keep the faith. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
