What a fun tune, and you played it very well!

Very soothing and melodic Dan! Really enjoyed this.

Hi @P2H I feel your frustration. I agree with @Bill_Brown to slow it way down and practice it. Another thought is to mark it complete and move onto something else for the time being, and then return to the blues shuffle at a later time. Often when I’m not making progress I do this, and it’s amazing that I can pick it up later and do better. Also, the purpose is not to master something. It is to build a practice routine and make advancements in skills as we move forward.

I was just saying this earlier in the week. Amazing how all of a sudden we can play something we thought was impossible. Great win @BAM

I’m not sure of the video you refer to with Tony. You could try and search on YouTube for it. Some good inexpensive guitars can be found at Orangewood guitars. Also, the Taylor Gs Mini is fairly inexpensive and smaller and sounds great.

Way to go!! Keep at it!!

That’s a really cool win John!

Your being told by the Administrators that the song vault was decommissioned at the request of the members is news to me. I loved the song vault (which I guess is available to anyone now even though I paid for it). I would like to see songs incorporated again in the skills section. When I took the Jumpstart to Fingerpicking and Flatpicking, the end result was the ability to play a full song, and I loved it. It did teach me skills that I’ve been able to incorporate in other ways, so my opinion is that having songs attached to the skills lessons would be extremely beneficial.

Folding laundry is the kid’s job anyway @Alfred . I tend to procrastinate the same exact way when it comes to just about anything. Very nice job!

It’s always exciting to shop for new guitars. If the guitar feels right to you and excites you, then it is for you. There will always be negative and positive reviews, but it comes down to what works for you. I’m not familiar with the Fender guitar, but it sounds awesome.

I think you did a great job. You received very nice clarity on the hammer on and pull offs. Keep at it. I can also see this becoming a song in the future.

Great win – It was a fun lick to learn.

I have no doubt that you’ll succeed at this monumental feat @MikeGaurnier . Keep at it, and way to go being accountable by letting us know.
