  • First TACiversary

I celebrated my 1st TACiversary earlier this month (16th ). I was not going to post anything, as I felt like I should be further along in my progress, then several things happened. I noticed as some of the daily lessons rolled around again, I could actually play them, maybe not at high speeds, but steady and cleanly! My spouse has started commenting on my playing, in a good way, and my dog comes in and goes to sleep while I practice- maybe not so good?! 😂 I posted “How I TAC” and won a GS Mini RW! I think the Guitar Gods are trying to tell me something- I’m making progress, having fun, and I really am extremely glad I signed up for TAC! I have learned so much, I’ve signed up for Fretboard Wizard and look forward to expanding my knowledge. I continue to learn from all the comments that are posted on the daily lessons as well. This community is awesome! Thank you Tony, TAC, and the community! Looking forward to year #2. Guitar Geeks Unite! 🤩

Happy anniversary! Thanks for sharing. BTW – it’s a good sign if your dog comes in and falls asleep. My dog will run in when I pick up the guitar (even though I’ve just started) or play the piano. She did not care for cello when I played it. She would occasionally come in for drums unless it got too loud! Susie Q is my best audience.

Thank you! I agree, Bella is my biggest fan/audience. 😁

    Hi Deanne,

So encouraging to hear of your progress. I too have noticed that revisiting previous lessons is a good barometer to gauge improvement. Thanks for the confidence boost!

Congratulations @Deanne what a wondeful TACiversary posting! Wishing you all the best for year 2! BTW, how do you like the GS Mini? I have a Taylor 324ce which I love, and have been thinking about something smaller for portability.

I love it! Great sound from a small, light guitar. It’s very easy to play, which my arthritic fingers really appreciate! BTW, thank you for the congratulations! 🙂
