Marty69-
No worries about guitar-stuff. It will be there when you get back!
To me anyway, guitar is small potatoes when held up next to health issues.
Speedy and complete recovery to you!

I will you a speedy recovery. You will be back before you know it.

Sorry to hear you had surgery. I agree you might not want that guitar of yours laying on your tummy right now. But, you could lay it on your lap and pick out melodies? Get plenty of rest and get back soon.

Wishing you speedy recovery and that the surgery resolves your health issues. Since it is a journey you know you can pick up that axe and resume your play in the future. In the meantime, listen to some healing North Carolina music to soothe your soul. God bless you.

Godspeed @Marty69 , I am not sure what would be worse, the ailment or not being able to play. When I had my shoulder done I played the guitar while it was in the stand just finger picking rhythmically (I am a desperate case). I will play extra so you don’t have to worry. The vibrations in the universe will remain balanced during your recovery. Peace my friend.

Praying for you @Marty69. Have a speedy recovery. You’ll be playing again soon I’m sure. 🎸😎

Hey @Marty69 , the important thing is you are taking care of yourself so you can play for many years to come.
In the meantime, there are many ways to stay connected to your guitar journey. One obvious one is to spend time looking closer at music theory. Another one is to watch videos on guitar technique that might inspire you. And of course, there’s the straight forward task of listening to music, lots of music, and really pay attention to hear things that can apply to your own playing. You can read books and watch documentaries about musicians and bands. And I’m sure there are more things that I haven’t thought of.
Get well soon, my friend.
