I haven’t heard the original; but you were playing and sounding good! You must have picked it up from just seeing/hearing it. Well done!

Thats right I heard it was going through losing my Dad said to myself I am going to do it thought it was meant to be changed the words the key the tempo and added hybrid flat picking instead of finger picking more expressive vocals I dont do many sad or down type songs but it feels good to vent

I don’t think I’ve heard that song before either Kevin, but it doesn’t matter because you played an awesome rendition👍 Loved the hybrid picking and the vocals 😘 Another great performance🎉🎸

Hey glad you liked the song @Bill_Brown even though it is a little on the down side I was reluctant to post my version but some of the best songs are written from pain so I took a leap of faith

You are right @KevinZ , some of the best music is written from personal experience🤔 Wishing you well my friend🎸

Thought provoking rendition and I appreciate it. I’ve lost parents after extended decline in 2022 and relate to it. Thanks. (Like the hammer ons and pull offs ).

This really hit home for me with the loss of my mother in 2021, but she was gone long before that because of the dementia. Your emotion is raw, and it really tugs at your heart.

I had a hard time at 1st getting through the song @Loraine it was a very trying time with my dad when I heard this it hit home also but I felt it needed more emotion to come through so thats why I changed the key some words tempo and struming flat picking I wanted it to touch the listener and pass on being able to vent for healing thanks for listening in
