Cats In The Cradle (Instrumental with a lesson)
Posted by Marty73 on May 26, 2023 at 2:14 pmAs guitarist/musicians, we must learn to adapt while playing or singing during live or recording sessions. If you mess up during a performance, find a known chord and continue playing. See if you can find where I fumbled the recording, Don’t stop! Just my 2 cents. 😊🧙♂️😎

Ah, one of my all-time favorites. You’re right, @Marty72 you just got to keep on keeping on. Most the time folks don’t even notice a goof. Thanks for posting. I’ve got to revisit this Harry Chapin classic life lesson.

I tried to avoid the “Cats in the Cradle Syndrome” but even when you parent well they still forget and life wraps them up in busyness. (I did catch it but like you said you just kept going. Good job).

That was a great performance Marty72! 👏 I enjoyed listening to your video. 👏🎸😎

Beautifully performed @Marty72 . Your version is more elaborate than mine, possibly because you hand strum and cross pick. Very nice!

Very nice @Marty72 👏👏😘 And a great recovery too👍 Around the 3:27 mark, if you hadn’t mentioned it, I would’ve never noticed🤔
