Deliverance/Dueling Banjos (One Man Cover)
Posted by Marty75 on June 10, 2021 at 10:48 amI have been playing with this song (Deliverance/Dueling Banjo) for quite some time. I tried to find a banjo player on TAC but got no response so I went solo.
This is “my rendition” of Deliverance/Dueling Banjo all done by one person on a guitar. Hope you like it. 🧐🧙♂️😎

Sometimes you just gotta do it alone @Marty69 🙂 Nice revamp of that classic bluegrass jamming tune. 🎶

Hey @Marty69 that was awesome👏🤩👏 “Really Truly” 👍👍 Did you do that in open G tuning🤔 ? When I watched and listened, I thought I was witnessing Deliverance II 😱! Well played and well thought out arrangement😎

Thank you Bill. I was in standard tuning for this one. 😊🧙♂️😎

Good for you. You made all those licks and echo licks look so easy.Great fingerings and strumming throughout! Your hard work aid off.

Hi @Marty69 , just wanted to say that I liked your post so much that I had to give it another listen today. Great arrangement, great playing – “Really Truly”👍👍 Also, I like the hat you’re wearing, it kind of gives the video a true Deliverance mood. Is there a story behind the hat?
-
Thank you @Bill_Brown for your kind words. About the hat, It is a “Steampunk” hat I ordered on line. I collect hats and guitars. lol Quite a few of my post show me wearing different hats. Some TAC members love seeing the hats. 🧐🧙♂️😎
