Deliverance-improvCharlieD
Posted by charlie_d on September 8, 2021 at 12:38 pmHad fun trying to crosspick and mix up the pentatonic and major without having them clash too much… No effects added, just plain acoustic into a USB mic.

That was great. So neat to see what can be done with a simple chord progression and scales–and a beautiful musical sensibility. 🙂

Another great improv @charlie_d 👏👏👏 Very nice mixture of the pentatonic and major scale notes in your melody segments👍👍 Sweet🤩 I agree with @Mayr – “beautiful musical sensibility”😱 – what a great term🤔 – but you do show it all the time😎

Thanks for your post, @Bill_Brown ! I have done this improv in previous renditions, but this is probably the first time I tried to mix the scales together, this has not been something that has made sense to me in the past, but maybe a little “sensibility” helped me out 😝🎶

Great improv, @charlie_d 👍
I really like the scale changes – they clearly changed the feel of the improv back and forth 😀
