I loved the tone you got on your electric JoeW and your very nice and smooth melody lines. Reminded me of a Robert Fripp solo on an old Roches album i have. Great job!

Very nice @JoeW 👏👏👏 I liked the tone that you had the electric 🎸set to – lo treble kept it mellow. I also liked how you slid into the notes that started each riff – very nice👍👍

Thanks, @jonathandavid and @Bill_Brown. I appreciate feedback on the tone (you were right, Bill, I did turn the treble way down) and your kind words.

That was cool, refreshing to see an electric here 🙂 Beautiful guitar. The slides sounded great and very appropriate for an “icing” theme 😄

Very well done @JoeW loved the melody line as well as the rich warm tone you produced with the cool Guitar!!!

Fun run through that track @JoeW! I liked that tone as well with a fat round tone. Nice riffs and melody happening there as well! Thanks for the post! 👍🎶

Thanks, @charlie_d . I’m not savvy with the tech-tronics so I just try to find settings on the small amp, run thru the pickups to see what sounds good to my ear and then adjust the tone knob on the guitar. And I seem to pick the strings with a softer attack.
Playing in a band rehearsal room you can crank up the volume so you’re heard over the drums but, with backing tracks you gotta lower the volume yet still make it say something worth listening to, if that makes any sense.

@JoeW , yes I definitely understand. I don’t play much electric, but in a small setting to a backtrack, I have a little VOX AC4C1 amp that is fun for getting low enough volume with some tone/distortion without upsetting the neighbors instead of using effects pedals and other gizmos.
