  • My Father’s Daughter (Jewel)

This is my interpretation of this song, which is about Jewel’s birth and rearing in a log cabin with her father teaching her guitar and to perform, just as her grandmother taught her father.

Very well done! I think this is my favorite of yours. The guitar was ringing out clear, clean, and smooth. Good choice!

My gosh, I forgot all about Jewel. She just seemed like such a nice person and her songs are so enjoyable. Good job on it and for finding such a beautiful song to share with us.

Thanks @Cadgirl – Jewel stayed out of the limelight for years while she found herself, got married and had children. She’s put out quite a few newer songs, and I love how she’s matured.
