Congratulations on new guitar, hope it plays well for, I have a luthier in my area who does wonders with setups for about $75.00 worth every cent. Have fun!!

Hi, Dirk_R,
Congratulations on your new Dreadnought Jr. with natural spruce! I also have a Dreadnought Jr. with spruce and love it! It’s a great sounding guitar, and is comfortable to play.
Happy playing,
Cherie 😀

Hi @Dirk_R , I think that when you open up the “Reply” box, there’s an icon of a camera, from there you can up-load a picture that is saved on your computer👍

It is surprisingly easy to put a photo on the site Dirk. But hey, it’s also easy for us to go online and see what a Martin Dreadnaught Jr with Spruce top looks like.
So, I’m happy that you got your new guitar. I hope you love it. I look forward to seeing and hearing it on an upcoming VOM. See you then.

Thank you Mike, one of these times I might get an acoustic guitar that keeps me playing acoustic, but I still prefer my semi hallow. (although it is a real drag hauling around the 40 pound amp)

Played the guitar on SNLVOM last night and it was great, my granddaughter played with me and she said she liked the sound better than my electric. I like it so far.

Thank you. Yes you are missed when you miss a VOM, I enjoy listening to you play.

I really appreciated hearing you play the new guitar, @Dirk_R . I am so glad you like it and how it sounds. It’s much more difficult finding guitars that we really like than one might think. Martin makes a great product, but that doesn’t mean you will enjoy every guitar they make. You have to get the right one. One thing about the Dread Jr, though, is they have tried to make a guitar that is as close as possible to universal so that it will work for pretty much any beginner. But it is a quality guitar, so you could play it and enjoy it for years. Again, congratulations.
