Original instrumental composition 07-09-21 FVOM
Posted by Omar-guitar-player on July 9, 2021 at 9:18 pmI played this for the Friday Open Mic group. An instrumental I’ve had rolling around in my brain for a while. I titled it: “Emotions – Pain & Bliss”
My guitar is a LAG Tramontane T118ASCE – a French designed guitar

That is beautiful. there just something about an instrumental…stripped down to just the emotions.

That was a wonderful creation @Omar_A.H. 🤩👏👏👏 The music itself definitely creates a mood that (to me) is tranquil and yet mystical. That guitar sounded awesome, did you use some added effects with the sound?
-
Very inspiring for me. It’s sounds haunting and beautiful. 🙂

Really fine, @Omar_A.H. Wish such melodies rolled around in my head.

This sounds really cool, Omar. Thanks for debuting it on the Friday VOM. I look forward to hearing it with the addition of your son’s bass line. I am happy you two get to do a little family collaborating!

First, thank you all for your comments.
Second, I replied 2 days ago and it just “poof” disappeared. 🧐
Anyway,
Loraine, bugmeist, Bill_Brown, Marty69, stevieblues, dr_dave, Lance-Hawkins, Cadgirl, AttyTJ, BrianSantos, …thank you for your comments and reactions.
Bill_Brown, I used the chorus and reverb settings on my Boss Acoustic Singer Live amp.
BrianSantos, to get to play together with my son is the fulfillment of a long-held dream for me. He is so much more talented than he gives himself credit for.

Mystical vibe to that @Omar_A.H. something like Hotel California gives me that kind of vibe well done as always
-
thanks Kevin for the feedback, didn’t hear “Hotel California vibe” in this before your comment 😀

Beautiful chord progression, Omar! The kind of sound and meditative groove that is wonderful to get into while lying in your back and exploring guitar chords. I loved it.
