I like the idea of just recording something without having to polish it with 20 takes. That is what happens when you play with or for others. One just has to go ahead. I appreciate that attitude @Marty69

@albert_d Thank You. After all these years doing TAC’s lesson plans and playing everyday, I’ve reach a point that I can play most what I try and learn. I still haven’t memorized this one but I have many others. Playing guitar is my enjoyment. I just wish I could find someone around here to play with. 😊🧙‍♂️😎

My hat’s off to you @Marty69 👏👏👏 I really enjoyed listening to you play👍👍 Your CEO 7 sounds great and you play her with such skill🤩 I can’t find anyone around my area to play with either, so I completely empathize with your plight😱 So here I sit, watching others play, and I try to play along with them, wether they want me to or not😎 Peace to you my friend, maybe when this COVID stuff is over, people will come out of their shelters and want to get together again🤔

I like that strumming style combined with the finger picking. Sounds great straight off the bat and its not often we get to hear Lady Gaga on TAC either!

@Marty69 I, too, like the strumming/picking combination. Very impressed this recording was a second take. I am nowhere close to doing something like that yet. Thanks for being an inspiration.

Absolutely beautiful rendition of Shallow – one of my favorites. Great intonation!

Funny @Marisa I was thinking the same thing when I recorded it and posted it. “I bet Marisa will sing along with this one” LOL Thanks you for listening. 😊🧙‍♂️😎

Fantastic, right there👏👏👏. Are you following along on the “tabs” and then improvising all the cool strumming-pattern stuff, riffs, picking parts, etc?

Man, I would love to learn what you have done there. Great.

@the-old-coach Thank you! How I approach learning a song is to find it on Youtube and listen to it. I listen to the words and the guitar parts over and over. I look up the chords, never did learn how to read “tabs”, or find the key the song is written in and write down a chord matrix’s in that key. I can’t sing for medical reasons so I try and let my fingers do the singing for me. I don’t know how that happens but it does. lol 😊🧙‍♂️😎
