Right jumping on the Christmas bandwagon with what might not be the best playing but I’m hoping to win an award for the best staged video, complete with dog to hold attention and deflect from any imperfections. I had this song pretty dialled to the metronome but it added a whole new level of complexity videoing it with an audience even if it is just a dog so kept getting it wrong but I’m happy with it.

It’s nearly been a year since I picked up my guitar and joined tac and I’m very happy with my progress. I think I’ve missed 3 days all year so have developed a very good routine and the rest has just followed. Hoping to keep up the progress next year and keep having fun. The song is in the song vault if your looking for a carol to play its in open d which is so good to play. ✌️

Great dog, great performance – and definitly best staged video 🎄😉.

But your daily routine is the most impotant part 🤗.

Really great performance Fly, and your dog was mesmerized by your playing. The lighting and tree in the background were the perfect ambience. High five from a humanoid!

Thanks Loraine glad you like it, think she was more mesmerised with the promise of a treat if she sat for me but I will take it. Apart from the few videos here she’s the only one that listens to my playing and she doesn’t seem to mind it apart from the odd groan😂 I hope you and your dogs have a great Christmas with plenty 🎸

Nice. I dusted this arrangement off of Tony’s old TAC songs and am playing it this season too. It sounds so nice in the Open D. Good job.

It really resonates doesn’t it. Just strumming the open strings creates a nice sound and vibration through my guitar I need to explore this more. Enjoy playing it Albert cheers

GREAT JOB! I just learned it as well and video taped myself on my nylon string guitar, but haven’t posted it. I love the sound on your steel string. Will try to figure out how :). Merry Christmas.

I’d love to hear that on your classical guitar. I’d like to try and play with nylon strings and hear the difference.
